Terms of Use
Last updated: September 4, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Learn Desmos website and course. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
They are written to be read. Nothing here is hidden in a long paragraph, and none of it asks you to give up more than you would expect from a small study course.
What Learn Desmos is
Learn Desmos is an independent educational resource that teaches a repeatable way to use the Desmos graphing calculator on SAT Math questions. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by College Board or Desmos, and it is not an official SAT preparation programme. See the Disclaimer for the full statement on affiliation, trademarks and the coverage figure.
No guarantee of results
The course teaches a method. What you get out of it depends on how much of it you do, what you already know, and what appears on your particular exam.
Nothing on this site is a promise, prediction or guarantee of any SAT score, score increase, admission outcome or other result. The published coverage estimate describes question types the method addresses; it is not a forecast of your performance.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Give a real email address you control, so confirmation and password-reset messages reach you.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and accounts are for one person — they are not to be shared, sold or transferred.
- If you think someone else has got into your account, reset your password and tell us at info@learndesmos.com.
Acceptable use
While using the site, do not:
- copy, download in bulk, scrape, republish, resell or otherwise redistribute the lessons, videos, guided tasks, practice questions or explanations;
- share your account or the course content with people who do not have their own account;
- try to get around access controls, sign-in, or the rules that keep one learner’s data separate from another’s, or attempt to read data that is not yours;
- probe, scan, overload or disrupt the site or the services it depends on;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code beyond what your browser is given to run the site; or
- use automated tools to create accounts or to submit answers on your behalf.
Doing any of these may result in the account being suspended or removed. Genuine security findings reported in good faith to info@learndesmos.com are welcome, not punished.
Intellectual property
The original course content — the written lessons, the lesson videos, the guided microtasks, the original SAT-style practice questions, their explanations and the site’s own design, wordmark and code — belongs to the owner of Learn Desmos and is protected by copyright.
While your account is active you are given a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that content for your own study. That licence does not include redistributing it, teaching from it commercially, or using it to train or fine-tune a model. No other rights are granted.
Third-party names used on this site — SAT, Bluebook, College Board, Desmos — are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used descriptively only.
The Desmos calculator and other third-party services
The graphing calculator you use in guided practice is the Desmos calculator, embedded through the Desmos graphing calculator API. It is provided by Desmos Studio PBC, it is not part of this site, and your use of it is subject to Desmos’s own API terms, terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these terms. Desmos may change or withdraw that calculator at any time, and we do not control it.
Accounts, data storage and authentication are provided by Supabase. Links to official practice resources such as College Board’s Bluebook tools are offered for convenience only; the sites they point to are not ours and are governed by their own terms.
Availability and changes to the course
The course is under active development. Chapters, questions, videos and features may be added, corrected, reordered, changed or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Progress is preserved wherever a change allows it, but that cannot be promised for every future change.
Ending your use
You may stop using the site at any time, and you may ask for your account and data to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply afterwards.
Provided “as is”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and the course are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is free of errors, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet any particular requirement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learn Desmos and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost opportunities or exam outcomes, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you live somewhere that grants you consumer rights that override any of this, those rights still apply to you.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version always lives on this page and the “Last updated” date changes with it. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using the site and ask for your account to be deleted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any mandatory protections available to you where you live.
